EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man was attacked when three thieves broke into an East Harlem home early Monday morning, according to the NYPD.
It happened on 2nd Avenue around 2:45 a.m. Three men displayed a firearm and demanded money from the victim, police said.
The victim was hit with the firearm. The thieves managed to get away with watches they stole from a closet, according to authorities.
The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim wasn't seriously injured and refused medical attention at the scene.
The home invasion is under investigation.
