ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- South Colonie Central School District and the U.S. Marines are kicking off the 18th annual Stuff the Bus Toys for Tots drive this Monday. The kickoff will be at the Shaker Road Elementary School in Albany from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.
The initiative brings the South Colonie community together to spread holiday cheer by collecting toys for children in need. The kickoff will feature community members highlighting the district's commitment to giving back to the Capital Region for the holiday season.
Toy collection events will also be held at several South Colonie schools, the South Colonie District Office, and the Village of Colonie. The South Colonie District Office is accepting toy donations through December 9.
