New Delhi: India’s star batsman Virat Kohli was seen facing Jasprit Bumrah in the nets on the second day of the practice match against Prime Minister’s XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra. In the match, India’s captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. At the same time, the team’s fast bowlers troubled the opposition batsmen one by one. However, Bumrah and Kohli were missing during fielding in the match.
While the bowlers and other players were on the field, senior batsman Kohli was seen working hard against Bumrah in the nets. In a video that went viral, Kohli was seen facing the Indian fast bowler who was bowling with full force at the Indian batsman. Both Kohli and Bumrah played a key role in India’s victory in the first Test in Perth, where Bumrah took eight wickets while Kohli scored an unbeaten 100*.

India’s superb bowling:
Meanwhile, the first day of the pink ball practice match against Prime Minister’s XI was washed out due to rain. Hence, a 46-over game was scheduled on the second day to give both teams enough match practice with both bat and ball. India got off to a good start with Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep picking up a wicket each to reduce Prime Minister’s XI to 22/2 in the opening over.
However, Sam Constas took the attack to the Indian bowlers and scored a half-century off 49 balls. However, Harshit Rana and Prasidh Krishna helped India come back strongly. Harshit Rana (4/44) helped India bounce back by dismissing Jack Clayton (40 off 52 balls). Two balls later, he also uprooted the stumps of Oliver Davies. The right-arm pacer dismissed skipper Jack Edwards and Sam Harper cheaply to demolish the Prime Minister’s XI. Prasidh Krishna also dismissed Aiden O’Connor (4 off 4 balls) as the opposition was all out for just 240 runs in 46 overs.
