Royal Wootton Bassett Town travel to Mangotsfield United on Tuesday evening in what promises to be an exciting, potentially important clash between a pair of Hellenic League Premier Division playoff hopefuls (7.45pm kick off). There may still be a long way to go between now and the end of the regular season. But both teams will be aiming for what could end up proving to be a vital victory in a playoff race that, at present, is hotly contested. The game will be the third meeting between the teams this season. Both previous meetings took place in August. And while Bassett came out on top in the Emirates FA Cup extra preliminary round, winning 2-1, Mangotsfield edged out a 1-0 victory in the teams' league encounter at the Sustain Stadium. Tuesday's latest matchup should be another close encounter with Mangotsfield looking to seize upon having home advantage. However, having recently installed a 3G pitch at their ground - which led to them playing their first home game of the season just a week ago, the Mangos will be on somewhat unfamiliar territory.
