She explained that they were “high school sweethearts” who got back together after he went behind bars.
Manny has already spent seven years in prison, having first been incarcerated at the age of 20.
When he was 21, he received a life sentence for his charges including burglary, murder, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Montreanna has two young sons as well as a step-daughter through her relationship with Manny.
The pair broke up while they were still in school after their classmates made fun of them for their open relationship agreement, which allowed Montreanna to continue exploring her sexuality.
Despite this, she said she never had the same feelings for anyone after their relationship ended.
When she found out Manny had been locked up, she decided to reach out.
They shared a phone call for the first time in nine years with Montreanna experiencing “butterflies” as they spoke.
The pair found that their feelings had never gone away and decided to recommit to their relationship.
They now talk “all day” on the phone and have visits twice a month.
Montreanna revealed that Manny proposed to her during one of their phone calls.
Despite her dreams for a big wedding, she said she was “perfectly fine” with their prison nuptials, joking that a ring pop would’ve sufficed.
The TikToker said she was initially nervous to tell her mum about her reunion with Manny.
While her mum was “sceptical” at first, she soon came around to the idea.
TikTok users on the other hand, immediately understood Manny’s draw.
“Girl, I get it,” one viewer wrote in the comments section.
“Them men that be locked up be fine as hell,” agreed another impressed follower.
“Girl, I’m a lesbian, but that is one majestic man,” commented a third person.
“I’d wait on him too and baby, I’d be gone before they read the Miranda rights,” joked another commenter.
