New England made its interest known on Saturday, as director of player personnel Matt Groh and director of college scouting Camren Williams made the drive up north to Chestnut Hill, according to Kevin Stone of New England Football Journal.
Detroit Lions regional scout Dave Uyrus was the only other NFL name listed as being in attendance.
The Patriots could be interested in any number of guys that took the field Saturday, but the two most likely candidates are Boston College offensive lineman Ozzy Trapilo and defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku — both of whom are expected to be Day 2 picks. The Eagles also have a couple Day 3 options in offensive lineman Drew Kendall and wide receiver Jerand Bradley.
