PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The month of November is ending dry, cloudy, and cool across the greater Portland, Vancouver metro area Saturday.
Temperatures will struggle to warm greater than the mid 40s Saturday as skies remain dry. Portland area rain gauges surpass the monthly average as clouds remain across the region. Local Saturday shoppers can expect to stay cool as gray skies do the same.
December starts Sunday with slightly warmer conditions across the Pacific Northwest. December is typically Portland's wettest month of year as average temperatures settle into the 40s. The dry stretch of weather remains across western Oregon and southwest Washington through the middle of the week.
Poor air quality is likely to stick around the Willamette Valley Thursday as an Air Stagnation Advisory remains in place.
Dry skies and more sunshine is expected by the start of next week. The dry round of weather comes to an end by Thursday and Friday as rain showers return to the forecast.
