The Andhra Pradesh government, led by CM Chandrababu Naidu, has disbursed Rs 18,000 crore towards social pensions for 64 lakh beneficiaries in the past five months. The pension amount was increased from Rs 3000 to Rs 4000 per month. The government is also aiming to attract Rs 4 lakh crore investments to create four crore jobs.
