One of the best rushers in college football will be featured when DJ Giddens and the Kansas State Wildcats (8-3) take on the Iowa State Cyclones (9-2) on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
The Cyclones took on the Utah Utes in their last outing, winning 31-28. Last time out, the Wildcats won 41-15 over the Cincinnati Bearcats. Rocco Becht threw for 256 yards, with one touchdown and one interception on 20-of-38 passing (52.6%) for the Clones in that matchup against the Utes. He also added seven carries for 27 yards and one rushing touchdown. Carson Hansen totaled 57 rushing yards on 14 carries (4.1 yards per carry), scoring two touchdowns on the ground. He added two catches for 28 yards. Jayden Higgins led the receiving charge against the Utes, catching nine passes for 155 yards and one touchdown. Avery Johnson recorded 147 passing yards while going 13-for-23 with two touchdowns and no interceptions for the Cats against the Bearcats. He added 10 carries for 72 yards and one touchdown. Giddens carried the ball 15 times for 143 yards (9.5 yards per attempt) with two touchdowns. In the passing game, he added three catches for 39 yards. Tre Spivey recorded 63 yards through the air after five catches (on eight targets), with one touchdown.
