FORMER Towie star Kelsey Stratford has revealed she is raking in the cash after stripping off online.
The 24-year-old, who left the reality show in 2021, decided to go on OnlyFans as she struggled to save money from her normal 9-5.
Kelsey quit Towie back in 2021[/caption]And Kelsey, who says the site was banned during her time on the programme, has turned her life around and moved to Dubai with her mega earnings.
She told The Sun: “When I was on Towie they actually said we weren’t allowed to do OnlyFans.
“But, after I left, I started OnlyFans because I really wanted to move to Dubai because of my very stressful home life.”
Kelsey, who is a trained career, continued: “I was working a normal 9-5 as a receptionist and I could just never save.
“I always thought about OnlyFans because of my following and I started it and I earned so much on the first day it was crazy.
“I am earning five figures a month and moved out to Dubai a few weeks after.”
Her decision hasn’t come without it’s issues though and she admitted: “I have had some backlash from people saying ‘you were on Towie, this is embarrassing, people look up to you’ and stuff like that.
“I choose not to listen to the hate because I know I am doing well anyway.”
The star added: “Other Towie people are interested in doing it too, I have had a few of the cast members says to me ‘how do you go about starting, would you recommend doing it’ or ‘you are making me want to do it but I am just too scared’.”
During her time on Towie Kelsey, who joined in 2019, was embroiled in a feud with Ella Rae Wise but formed a close friendship with Chloe Brockett.
The star is now living in Dubai[/caption]OnlyFans is a subscription content service based in London.
As of 2023, it is thought to have more than 220million registered users and over three million content creators.
Sex workers charge monthly fees for access to pictures, videos and more.
While popular for porn, the site isn’t exclusively designed with that in mind – anyone who wants to build up a fan base and charge them for it can set one up.
Celebs like Katie Price and Kerry Katona are popular personalities on the platform.
“Whether you’re uploading tutorials, tips, behind-the-scenes footage or just endless selfies, a lot of your followers would be willing to pay for them,” the company states.
For every subscription that’s sold to a viewer, performers get 80 per cent of the cash while OnlyFans gets the rest.
It isn’t limited to adult content, as it has become popular with physical fitness experts and musicians.
