PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- With Thanksgiving now behind us, The Grotto in Northeast Portland is ringing in the holiday spirit with their Christmas Festival of Lights.
Beginning Friday night, two million lights will brighten up the sanctuary's garden, which also includes a giant walk-through Christmas tree.
Known as the largest Christmas Choral Festival in the world, more than 150 choirs will perform at the Chapel of Mary over the span of 31 nights. The festival will additionally feature nightly puppet shows, story time, caroling and more.
Tickets are available here. Children aged 2 and under get in for free.
Until Dec. 30, the lights will illuminate the garden from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for every night except Christmas Day.
