Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are proud to announce the addition of three players to the team’s leadership group for the remainder of the 2023-24 season. Joining Captain Erik Pastro will be Luke Bibby, Marko Stojkov, and Landon MacDonald, who have been named Assistant Captains.
Head Coach Lukas Lomicky emphasized the importance of taking time to evaluate the group before making the decision.
“We wanted to take some time and observe the group since we had many new faces,” said Lomicky. “With the departure of our other Assistant Captains, we identified Luke, Marko, and Landon as a great fit to replace them in this role and support Erik as Captain.”
He continued by highlighting the qualities that led to the selections:
“They are first-class, character kids with lots of experience from different teams and junior leagues. We are looking forward to working with them as an extended voice of the coaching staff and continuing to improve as a team.”

In other roster news, Shea Busch has made the decision to join the WHL. The Vernon Vipers would like to thank Shea for his contributions over the past year and a half and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
