A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday night, Nov. 27 in a suspected hit-and-run crash in Arleta, according to police and broadcast reports.
The crash occurred near the Terra Bella Street off-ramp from the 5 Freeway, at 14226 W. Terra Bella St., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
The pedestrian, whose name, age and gender were not disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles Police Department told CBS Los Angeles that the crash is being investigated as a hit-and-run. “Crews arrived and found the victim, who has not yet been identified, in the street,” the CBS report said.
A suspect or vehicle involved in the collision has not been identified.
