The 98th edition of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade was as good as ever.
I’ve watched the parade for as long as I can remember, and it’s rarely rained. But Thursday, from beginning to end, it was one rainy adventure as Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb guided viewers through the hours-long show, packed with so many floats, lovely performances and tons of iconic balloons.
Truthfully, I held my breath, hoping that nothing drastic would happen during the parade, and I’m proud to say that outside of a brief Bluey balloon snafu, all was well. (Although Cynthia Erivo settled Wicked’s singing debate during a mid-parade appearance, and some folks might be distraught about that.) Amazingly, a few brave photogs captured some awesome raindrop-filled photos you need to see.
