IT’S been a month since Black Ops 6’s launch, and the latest instalment in the popular shooter series has been breaking records as the biggest Call of Duty ever.
To celebrate its successful month and Thanksgiving, Black Ops 6 is hosting a double XP weekend which has already begun.
From November 27, 2024, until December 2, 2024, players will be able to level up twice as fast to unlock battle pass rewards, weapon levels, and player ranks.
For the same amount of gameplay time, Call of Duty players will be earning double the amount of Battle Pass XP, weapon XP and general XP during the event.
During the five-day Double XP event, the developers are bringing back several fan-favourite modes into the game.
Prop Hunt, Stakeout 24/7, and Hardcore Stakeout 24/7 are all available over the next few days, too.
A fun hide-and-seek mode, Prop Hunt has been highly anticipated by fans.
Players are randomly assigned to either the Props or Hunters team, with Props trying to hide by blending with the environment, and Hunters who are tasked with finding them.
Following the Double XP weekend, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is also getting its first mid-season content update.
Launching on December 5, 2024, the update will bring new maps, weapons and modes to the game’s ongoing Season 1 Reloaded.
