It’s a podcast of two halves ahead of Scotland’s crucial Euro 2025 qualifying playoff final tie against Finland and a huge chance to make a return to a major tournament.
In the first half, Dave is joined by Casey Atkin. They reflect on just how big this tie is for SWNT as a whole but also Pedro Martinez Losa, particularly with an emphasis on the importance of the home leg first at Easter Road on Friday. They give their team predictions, and have a bit of fun with a cap quiz too.
In the second half, John is joined by SWNT royalty. The all time top goalscorer with a staggering 116 goals in 121 appearances, Julie Fleeting. They look back over how the campaign has gone so far, through the Nations League B campaign and the semi final against Hungary, even picking up the results with the influence of captain Rachel Corsie. They look at the gradual progression the team have been making, and how that along with the return of Chelsea Cornet might just help us take some revenge against a Finland side who have been a problem for us in the past.
