A MUM and dad have revealed how they manage to fit their family of five into a one-bed flat.
However, trolls have targeted them saying their living arrangements are “irresponsible” because the kids are sleeping in the lounge.
But Meg, who goes by the name of ‘meg.n.em’ on TikTok, has explained that they are just making sure the space works for them.
Showing off their home, Meg and her partner did a tour of their place.
Speaking to their followers, she said: “So someone asked how do we save space and where’s the baby stuff, so we will show you.
“We’ve eliminated as many baby contraptions as we have, but we are stuck with the high chair.”
They showed that the high-chair was flipped upside down and resting on top of their microwave.
They also purchase storage that can go above the toilet so it doesn’t take up too much extra space.
The dad can be heard saying: “I love this because we have minimal drawers and things.
“We don’t have a lot of drawer space here.”
The pair then went into their own bedroom, which has enough space for a double bed and chest of drawers either side.
Then they went into the living room, which is located next to the kitchen, and has bunkbeds for the children, as well as sofas on the other side of the room.
They even have a chair which can be used for multiple things like a side table, fort or someone to relax on.
They have even managed to fit in a Christmas tree, and placed decorations high on shelves to take advantage of the space.
The family also suggested buying mirrors for those who wish to downsize their home, as “they open up the place.”
Although the family have done their best to make use of the space of their one-bed house, they have been targeted by trolls who believe that the children shouldn’t be sleeping in the living room.

One wrote: “I think the children should have the bedroom and parents should buy a sofa that turns into a bed.
“That way they would have more space and the children would have space for themselves.”
Another said: “Just an idea, quite dangerous to leave kids bunk beds near the kitchen, maybe build a mezzanine floor in the bedroom so the kids can sleep in the room as well but up above you.”
