A reboot to Desperate Housewives might possibly in the works!
The hit ABC drama series starring Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, and Eva Longoria ran from 2004 to 2012 on ABC. The series, centered around Wisteria Lane in the fictional town of Fairview, follows the lives of a group of women as seen through the eyes of their friend and neighbor who committed suicide in the first episode.
In a new interview, creator Marc Cherry pitched his idea for a Desperate Housewives prequel series.

That was the most fun playground anyone in the history of television has ever had, because we owned the whole street.”
“I know that street like the back of my hand,” Marc continued. “When someone shoots a commercial on that street, I know it instantly, because I know all those houses, I know the geography. It was such a fun place to write for. And there’s times when I go, ‘You know what? I wonder if I could write Wisteria Lane in like, 1966.’”
Marc – who also created the shows Devious Maids and Why Women Kill – went on to say that “about 70,000 people” have asked him about a Desperate Housewives reboot, teasing, “The truth of the matter is that I have a couple of ideas to do it.”
However, Marc said he would only pursue a reboot if “there is still stuff that needs to be said.”
“If you do a reboot, you have to have a really good artistic reason to do it,” he explained. “And at some point, I’ll sit down with someone and go, ‘OK, let’s talk about if there’s a good enough ‘why’ to do it.’”
In an interview from last year, Eva addressed the possibility of doing a Desperate Housewives reboot.
