If you're looking to get away after your big wedding day, you might want to look to the 2024 World Travel Awards for some guidance on where to go.
This year's awards crowned a massive range of locales around the globe as the best honeymoon destinations in their respective continents. Naturally, this included stunners in places like southeast Asia and the Caribbean. But if you don't want to go too far for your post-nuptials trip, you won't have to; in fact, you won't even have to leave the country.
This year, Napa Valley, California emerged as the top honeymoon destination in North America, offering newlyweds stunning views and endless supplies of delicious wine in a temperate climate. The wino heaven beat out a bevy of tourist destinations that offer a wide variety of experiences depending on what you're looking for: Las Vegas, Nevada; Maui, Hawai'i; Miami Beach, Florida; Niagara Falls, Canada; Sanibel Island and Captiva Island, Florida; and Vancouver Island, Canada.

It's not the first time Napa has taken home this award, though it marks the first time in almost a decade, as the World Travel Awards named it the best honeymoon destination in 2014 and 2015. This year, it was also nominated for the best honeymoon destination in the entire world, which ultimately went to St. Lucia, and the world's best wine tourism region, which went to Bordeaux, France.
If you and your special someone are looking for a boozy honeymoon without breaking out your passport, it might be time to start planning your Napa vacation.
