India has deployed 33 supercomputers with a combined capacity of 32 petaflops under the National Supercomputing Mission. Three PARAM Rudra supercomputers were recently dedicated to researchers, boosting domestic capabilities and reducing reliance on imports. These advancements support research in diverse fields like astronomy, material science, and cosmology.
