THIS is the horror moment a plane drops from the sky and smashes into a busy road – killing two on board and injuring a biker.

According to reports, they were known as the “Dame and Knight of the Air”.
Shocking footage shows the aircraft plummeting to the ground like a stone whilst on an instructional flight.
Pedestrians are stopped in their tracks and left to stare in awe as the plane rests belly-up in the middle of the packed street.
The deadly event occurred on Eleodoro Solorzano Avenue, which is a lively street in the city of La Libertad.
The plane’s body does not bounce or skid along the road, instead it just stops dead once it smashes into the ground.
One person, a biker, was injured when he was struck by a piece of the plane.
He was innocently riding along the road when he was struck, trying at the very last second to swerve out of the way of the debris.
The man is seen coming off their bike during the intense crash.
In a statement shared online, the military forces of Ecuador commented on the tragedy.
They wrote: “The military and civilian personnel of our institution are in mourning, for the unfortunate death of Captain Diana Estefaníaiz Solis and the cadet Juan Andrés Pacheco Ramírez, who in life were highlighted “Dame and Knight of the Air”.”
“Our sincere condolences to the families and friends for such irreparable losses.
“We raise our prayers to the Almighty to receive their souls in his holy kingdom.”
A white car caught in the chaos is partially crushed.
It has been confirmed that support is now being provided to the families of the victims.
An investigation is currently being carried out to determine the exact cause of the accident.
The aircraft belonged to the Superior Military Aviation School of Ecuador.
It is currently unclear how extensive the motorcyclist’s injuries are.
