What We’re Tracking
Partly to mostly cloudy weather tonight with the wind letting up and then switching back to the north on Wednesday. Overnight lows will fall into the lower 30s with areas of clouds off and on throughout the night.
Our next storm system is expected to arrive just before Thanksgiving, bringing a blast of even colder air for the holiday. Precipitation is possible to return by Wednesday, primarily in the form of rain showers. However, it's still too early to rule out the possibility of a few snowflakes on Wednesday. The amounts should remain scattered and on the low side.
Thanksgiving itself should remain mostly dry as of now, but temperatures will suffer as we struggle to even get out of the upper 30s. By Friday morning, low could drop into the upper teens, definitely a cold one for those planning on Black Friday shopping! Another quick-passing system could bring a few snow showers to the area on Saturday. Right now, the best chance for that will over our northern and northeastern counties.
