Manipur launched operations against militants in Jiribam. The operations will expand statewide. Additional central forces have been requested. A new security SOP is in place. 258 people have died since May 3 last year. Over 3000 looted weapons were recovered. The NIA is investigating. 32 arrests were made recently. Around 10 militants were killed in Jiribam.
