DARTS star Damon Heta was not best pleased with his World Championship draw.
The Aussie will face either Connor Scutt or Ben Robb in his opening match at Ally Pally – both of whom he is very close to.

Some fans urged him not to worry about the outcome, but the 37-year-old responded: “It ain’t about being worried… it’s more the fact I’ve for a lot of time for Connor & we practice together & Ben is literally family.”
Heta also hit back at a fan who claimed “there are no friends or family in darts,” by writing: “These type of posts sum up how little people know about me.
“I can still not want to play friends & family & avoid them early rounds without it meaning I’m not going to go up there & try & smash them.”
Heta became close friends with Robb when they were on the darts circuit in Australia and New Zealand.
The Heat moved to the UK in 2019 – with just a single suitcase, nowhere to live and hopes of playing darts professionally.
Thankfully he knew fellow Aussie darts player Kyle Anderson, who helped him settle into life in England.
He is now ranked No9 in the world.

Earlier this month, Heta took to social media to reflect on his journey so far.
He wrote: “Landed in England five years ago today to get myself ready for my debut worlds and Q-School.
“Moved to a country we had never been to with only a suitcase each, nowhere to live & the only person we knew was Kyle.
“It’s crazy to think I play darts for a living!”
BELOW is a list of Darts world champions by year.
The list does not include winners from the pre-Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) era or BDO world champions.
That means Raymond van Barneveld, for example, is only listed once – Barney also won four BDO titles – and none of Eric Bristow’s five BDO titles are included.
