TV actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Mahira Sharma is not shy of showing off her gorgeous pictures on social media. Apart from her fans, it has also piqued the interest of a Team India cricketer which left people wondering if there is something brewing behind the scenes here.
Mahira recently shared a photo of herself in a stunning backless outfit on Instagram. The post got over 6.6 lakh views since last week but one of those persons liking the picture was Team India pacer Mohammed Siraj. The news that Siraj had ‘liked’ Mahira Sharma’s post soon went viral on social media and left fans wondering if the Indian fast bowler was dating the gorgeous TV star.
It should be noted Mahira and Siraj have never been spotted together. Therefore, the ‘like’ from the Gujarat Titans star has left fans even more intrigued about a possible connection between them. Siraj, who turned out for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) till last season in the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be playing for GT after they bought him for Rs 12.25 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah this week.
One fan commented, “Siraj bhai ne like kiya huaa hai,” while another said, “Kon kon siraj ka like dekhne ke liye aaya hai”.
Mahira Sharma was previously dating Paras Chhabra. The two met for the first time in Bigg Boss 13 house and fell in love with each other. However, they parted ways in 2023 and Mahira even unfollowed Paras on Instagram.
Later, Paras also confirmed their breakup and told ETimes, “Yes, we have not been talking to each other after a fight over petty issues for more than a week. But aisi fights toh hamari hamesha hoti rahi hain, even when we were inside the Bigg Boss house. I never thought that it will lead to a breakup.”
Mahira Sharma was recently seen in a music video titled ‘Without You’. Siraj, meanwhile, picked up three wickets in Australia’s second innings as India hammered the home side by 295 runs in the Perth Test to go 1-0 ahead in the five-match Test series for the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
In a standout moment after the Perth Test win, we saw Mohammed Siraj hugging Indian stand-in skipper Jasprit Bumrah and saying, “I only believe Jassi bhai,” referencing a viral video of him praising the pace spearhead after India’s T20 World Cup 2024 triumph against South Africa earlier this year.
During the video, Bumrah was also heard saying, “Abhi series khatam nahi hui hai” (The series is not over yet).
