Lyle Menendez's Wife Announces Divorce, Denies Cheating Rumors
Lyle Menendez‘s wife Rebecca Sneed has announced that they are getting a divorce, but it’s not because of a cheating scandal.
Rebecca has been married to Lyle since 2003, after spending over a decade as pen pals. She took to his official Facebook page to share the news, revealing that they have been “separated for a while now.”
The revelation was shared amid the news that Lyle and his brother Erik Menendez will be in jail through the end of the year. The brothers were supposed to have a resentencing hearing on December 11, but it has been delayed until January 30 to give incoming Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman time to review the case.

“Guys! This is NOT a cheating scandal. Lyle and I have been separated for a while now but remain best friends and family. I continue to run his Facebook pages, with input from him, and I am forever committed to the enduring fight for Lyle and Erik’s freedom, as has been so evident over the years,” Rebecca said in the Facebook post.
She added, “Please keep this page as the abuse survivor support page Lyle wants it to be. I’ll continue to update you all on the progress of the case because I believe we all have the common goal of seeing the guys walk free! I will never stop fighting for them. Please continue to join us in this fight! ❤️.”
