Wicked: Part One is now in theaters and the movie ended with a major cliffhanger that sets up the action for Part Two.
The movie musical is based on the beloved Broadway stage show, which premiered back in 2003 and is one of the most successful shows of all time. While the full musical has a run-time of just 2 hours and 30 minutes, the movie team decided to expand on the story and turned Part One into a 2 hour and 40 minute film.
Part Two will be released in theaters in November 2025 and has already completed filming. We already know what will happen in the next part, but let’s talk about what happened at the end of the first movie and how that will affect the future of Elphaba and Glinda.
