On a sunny afternoon at the SkyEx Community Stadium, it was Grace Stanley who provided the R’s first attempt at goal. Her shot forced Gwyn West down and grab the ball. 

For the visitors, Lily Price’s high ball into the penalty area was knocked onto the bar and then cleared to safety.  

Following handball just outside the corner of the box, Courtnay Ward-Chambers’ free kick flew just over the crossbar. 

Mr Monkman booked Asia Harbour Brown after Jess Cooper had nutmegged the Hamlet captain.  

Grace Stanley was clearly brought down in the box, but Mr Monkman wasn’t interested! 

The next Hamlet player to be shown a yellow card was Iesha Swaby after she had kicked out at a Rangers player. 

Courtnay Ward-Chambers’ low strike was touched past the upright for a corner. The R’s No.7 was booked close to the interval.  

There was just time for Annie Dzyadyk to pull the trigger, which the Dulwich keeper managed to stop with her legs. Half-time: 0-0. 

Into the second-half and Courtnay Ward Chambers’ shot at goal lacked power and the keeper made a comfortable save. 

This was a good period for the R’s, and after 56 minutes, when Grace Stanley had been put through, Gwyn West managed to chest the ball away to safety.  

Following a great run by Ellie Searle, the ball ended up going behind. Jess Cooper’s corner was then headed away. 

Mr Monkman booked Meila D’Santos following a foul on Phoebe Leitch. 

Then, Courtnay Ward-Chambers set-up Grace Stanley, who proceeded to fire just past the target. Minutes later, the Rangers striker, whilst off balance, shot just wide. 

A strong finish for the R’s, but at the final whistle it remained goalless.  

Chloe Sampson and Paige Hoile were both introduced during the second-half, replacing Ellie Searle and Annie Dzyadyk respectively.  

It was then back to FA Cup action when Danny Harrigan’s side travelled to the French School Meadows to take on Penn & Tylers Green.
