DANNY Jones’ wife Georgia has revealed the bizarre nightly routine that he’s been forced to abandon in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
According to Georgia, Danny will miss one health accessory and struggle without carrying out a ritual that he does before bed.
His wife Georgia opened up on what he’ll miss the most from home – and his unusual bedtime habit[/caption]She revealed the 38-year-old dad tapes his mouth shut before he goes to sleep, because it’s supposed to improve breathing and stop snoring.
But he hasn’t been able to do it in camp due to restrictions on personal items.
Georgia, 37, said without his go-to sleep hack, the guitarist and singer will be tired as well as hungry.
She said he moaned about it before jetting to Australia, telling Hannah Cooper on the Never Have I Ever podcast: “If I tell you this, this man has never fussed so much over the fact that he can’t tape his mouth in the jungle.
“He tapes his mouth at night. It’s meant to have many, many health benefits… It’s literally like a piece of gaffer tape. It’s like a massive plaster of your lips.”
She joked: “I tried this mouth tape, I was like, I’m going to have a smokers’ mouth after this tape. Because when it’s stuck on it’s really hard.
“How he’s got any lips left I don’t know!”
Reflecting on how he’ll be feeling, she added: “The only problem with Danny is he’s not great when he’s hungry or tired, and he’s going to be hungry and tired.”
Georgia also ‘grassed up’ her husband over his “lie” to I’m A Celeb bosses.
She said he told them he was terrified of snakes, hoping that he wouldn’t have to face any other disgusting critters in the Bushtucker Trials.
She urged fans to vote for him to do any trials without snakes, adding: “He’s not scared of snakes, but he said he is – that’s a double bluff.
“World exclusive: bulls**t. So, everyone vote for the tasks that don’t involve snakes, please!”
The McFly legend won eight stars for his campmates on Friday when he took on the High Street Of Horrors Bushtucker Trial with Dean McCullough.
Last night, I’m A Celeb legend Gillian McKeith returned to the show on spin-off series Unpacked and said she thinks Danny will win the show.
He revealed his vulnerable side to fans when he opened up on his 20 year health battle in the first week.
Rocker Danny revealed the story behind a tattoo on his chest that reads, “The day’s worthwhile when you make someone smile”, explaining it was a mantra his grandad lived by.
Opening up further, Danny revealed that he has been in therapy since he was 19 to cope with anxiety.
He also recalled a harrowing experience of having a panic attack on live TV during an interview.
The lead singer told his campmates: “I was freaking out and I couldn’t answer the question that got asked to me.
“My heart rate goes crazy, I went white, and I felt like I was going to puke.”
When asked by Jane if his anxiety stemmed from childhood or the pressures of being in McFly, Danny admitted: “I think I escaped a lot.”
He became overcome with emotion, putting his head in his hands as tears welled up.
