SIMILARITIES between daughters and their mums are common.
But Cher Hubsher looks so much like mum Dawn that people have even accused her of having plastic surgery to enhance the likeness.
The pair often find themselves hitting headlines due to their similarities, as they both sport long dark hair, the same facial features and youthful visages.
And Cher, 34, said that as she’s got older, she’s looking even more like her 64-year-old mother.
“As I’ve gotten older, I think I look more and more like my mum,” Cher, a content creator, told What’s The Jam.
“Some people even think I’ve had plastic surgery or work done to look like her.
“I promise, I haven’t.”
Cher added that people who spread the surgery rumours often look back at pictures of how she looked at 16, to how she looks now.
“But 18 years can bring a lot of changes!” Cher, who is actually married to a plastic surgeon, insisted.
“Back then, my hair was dyed blonde, so I didn’t resemble my mum as much.
“Now that I’m back to my natural hair colour, the resemblance is much stronger.
“People assume that because we look so alike, plastic surgery must be involved.
“But really, it’s just strong genetics.”
Cher also joked that while she thinks her mum is “absolutely beautiful”, she won’t be “spending thousands and thousands of dollars” to “look exactly like her”.
“I’m doing a pretty good job of that anyway – and it’s all for free,” she laughed.
The similarities between Cher and Dawn have led to some embarrassing mix-ups, as sometimes their husband even get them mixed up.
One time, Cher’s husband Jared smacked her mum on the bum as he thought it was his other half because they were wearing the same outfit.
And even Cher’s friends get them muddled up on occasion, as it’s not just in the way they look that they’re similar.
“We’re so alike in every way,” Cher grinned.
“Not just because we look alike, but because we also talk and act so similarly, too.
“My friends love hanging out with her and I think it’s because if you like me, then you’ll definitely love my mum.”
