GIVEN that their hit song featured in a Hollywood movie starring Will Smith, British singers, MN8 were arguably the unsung boyband heroes of the 90s.
They topped the charts with their debut album in 1995 and became one of the stand out British R&B groups of the new millennium.

They also toured extensively in the 90s, supporting some big name acts, including The Spice Girls, Janet Jackson, Madonna, and Robbie Williams to name a few.
Now almost 30 years since their hiatus, bandmember Kule T has released new music, a close harmony love song called Fairytale.
Featuring Kule T in lead vocals, the track has some R&B style backing vocals, which will no doubt trigger some 90s nostalgia for so many fans.
South London based musician Kule T is still active on the red carpet after appearing at the Glamour Awards earlier this year.
He also continues to makes special appearances at various soul and R & B music festivals and events.
Speaking on a recent podcast about the highs and lows of being in a band, Kule said: “When you have the fame hitting, it hits some people better than others. In any band environment you have people that take on the fame and people that take on the music.
“You’ve got people that want to be creative and people who want to be famous. I wasn’t the famous one, I just wanted to be creative.
“I can respect it because those two balances worked and that’s what created MN8 and everything else. But sometimes those two balances can get out of control.”
MN8 certainly had a passionate group of fans and the band once found themselves banned from performing at outdoor events after one distruptive incident.
Band member Dee Tails told the Sun that they almost derailed an M People concert when they first started out.
He said: “By accident, we’d done our gig on one of these outdoor events and then then M People went up on stage.
“The fans saw us at the side and started screaming and it wasn’t good as it took the spotlight away from M People.
“It was a lesson in being respectful to the other artists around you, but it was pretty crazy.”
But it wasn’t all fame, money and glamour. In 1996 the band, consisting of KG, G Man, Dee Tails and Kule T, were dropped by their record label.
Even after 3 top 10 hits which included I’ve got a Little Something for You, the demand for the band began to wane and they went their separate ways.
