Dakshina Kannada police conducted a special operation targeting illegal liquor sales and public consumption. Dinesh K. was charged for illegally stocking liquor in Sullia, while three others, Suresh, Beliappa Gowda, and Satish Kumar, were booked for public drinking in separate incidents across the district. Confiscated liquor and further legal action followed each case.
