DELMAR, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- After 11 years of searching, family members will lay Amanda King to rest in a private burial. On Sunday, King's obituary was shared, detailing her legacy before her disappearance in the fall of 2013.
King graduated from Bethlehem High School in 2003 and is remembered by her family for her intelligence, smile, and bright spirit. In late October, her remains were discovered near Troy's Burden Pond.
King's obituary said she would be laid to rest next to her mother, Fran Armm, at Congregation Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville. Anyone looking to honor King can make a memorial contribution in her name to The Center of Hope, an organization that helped the King family search for her.
