NEW YORK (PIX11) – Santa will open his workshop and pose for pictures in Herald Square following his appearance in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Families can take pictures with Santa at Macy’s Santaland in Herald Square from Nov. 29 to Dec. 24. Reservations will open every morning at 6:30 a.m. starting on Sunday.
Groups of up to nine people can reserve to take pictures with Santa up to five days in advance. The reservations will allow visitors to join the photo line however the wait time on location can be between 30 to 90 minutes.
As the tradition goes, guests can sit on Santa’s lap or on a red gift box next to him to take photos. Families with young children who cannot sit up on their own will need a guardian or older sibling to hold them.
