Mike Perry’s new combat sports promotion is off to a hot start.
Dirty Boxing Championship debuted at a private event on Saturday night in Miami. While the action wasn’t streamed or shown live on a network, the only glimpses of the card took place on social media. In a 145-pound matchup, Anvar Boynazarov faced Thiago Belo, and Boynazarov delivered a huge knockout with a Superman punch at the closing moments of the second round.

Boynazarov has a pro MMA record of 5-4, which includes an appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022 where he suffered a first-round stoppage loss to Erik Silva. The 35-year-old picked up a 13 second knockout win in March at Jorge Masvidal’s Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA event.
Belo has had an up-and-down mixed martial arts career. After winning four straight between 2017 and 2021, the Brazilian fighter lost four straight contests.
