As this Olympic year comes to an end, the Peace and Sport International Forum will reaffirm, through the slogan “Speak your Peace,” the ability of sport to transmit a culture of peace to younger generations.
This commitment will be symbolized by a Peace Walk, starting from the square at the Prince’s Palace in Monaco on December 3, 2024, at 6:00 PM, and ending at the Oceanographic Museum, the venue for the prestigious Peace and Sport Awards ceremony.
This initiative will be led by the Champions of Peace, institutional representatives, policymakers, and inspiring figures who embody the values upheld by the Organization: Neutrality, Resilience, Inclusion, Independence, Equity, and Dialogue.
Joël Bouzou, President and Founder of Peace and Sport, said: “In a world seeking peace, sport stands as a catalyst for change. Through the Peace and Sport International Forum, we aim to inspire decision-makers and encourage them to see sport as a true investment in the future.”
Didier Drogba, Vice-President of Peace and Sport, added: “This summer, sport and its values were brilliantly highlighted during Paris 2024. We, as athletes, must amplify our voices, raise awareness, and make it clear that sport is a positive force for youth. The Peace and Sport Forum 2024 will be crucial in preparing for tomorrow’s peace through sport.”

About Peace and Sport
Peace and Sport is an international, neutral, and independent organization created in 2007 by Olympic Medalist and World Champion in Modern Pentathlon, Joël Bouzou. It operates under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and is rooted in the neutrality of the Principality. Peace and Sport was founded on the belief that sport is a powerful tool for bringing people together and overcoming differences. The organization calls on international decision-makers to intentionally use sport as a means of transmitting values for peace, relying on its universality, role models, and trained grassroots actors to meet daily challenges.
