PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- For the first time, OMSI is opening an indoor ice rink.
Known as "OMSI on Ice," the exhibit auditorium turned winter wonderland will officially open to the public Saturday.
April Abate, OMSI's Director of Membership & Guest Services told KOIN 6 News the museum wants this to be something the whole family can enjoy.
"For the rink we do have an age limitation. You need to be five years of age or older," she noted. "But we don't want anyone to feel excluded from the overall ambience of the experience. So if you come to OMSI on Ice, you're welcome to sit and enjoy the music, the lights, we have games, coloring activities on the table. So everyone can be involved."
