The team news for Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League match against Manchester City has just been announced.
Following the international break, Tottenham have one of their most difficult matches of the season against the current Premier League champions.
Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has to try to get a result without some of his key players with Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero having both been ruled out through injury, while Rodrigo Bentancur serves the first of his seven-match suspension.
Tottenham have appealed against the length of Bentancur’s suspension and will now await a decision on the Uruguyan’s future availability.
City have lost four consecutive games in all competitions, which started with last month’s 2-1 defeat at Tottenham in the Carabao Cup is the longest losing run of Pep Guardiola’s managerial career.
With both of his first-choice central defenders sidelined, Postecoglou has selected Ben Davies and Radu Dragusin in their place.
This is who takes to the field in this evening’s late kick-off in Manchester:
MANCHESTER CITY: Ederson; Walker, Stones, Akanji, Gvardiol; Lewis, Gündogan; Bernardo Silva, Foden, Savinho; Haaland
