A MAN who scooped up £100,000 in a lotto jackpot refused to break the news to her mum – even though she is the reason he won.

Joshua, who was over the moon after learning he won a whopping £100,000, said he did not tell his mom about it – she did not even know he played.
But the lucky man thanked his mum for the win because she was the one who put him up at the winning postcode.
He said: “I’m over the moon and back again. It opens up the whole world. I’m over-the-world happy!
“I told my sister that I’d got a call saying I’d won, but I didn’t tell my mum. She’ll be gobsmacked when I tell her how much.”
Even though Josh initially decided to keep the news from his mum, he revealed how he is now going to spoil her and his family with the money he won.
He said: “Looking after my mum is the most important thing. I’m a family guy and family is always most important to me.
“For Christmas, I have a budget for each person, but I might spend a bit more now.”
Josh now also plans to buy his own home after spending years at his mum’s place.
He revealed: “A house is a big thing, and I didn’t even think about it until I saw the amount.
“I’d like to buy around here – my job is in Lincoln, and the pub’s down the road. I’m happy here.”
He also now plans to take driving lessons and buy his first car.
“I’ve already looked at a Skoda Fabia, but it can’t be too fast as I need something practical for my nieces and nephews,” he said.
Meanwhile, a mum-of-three won £166,666 the day after predicting it – she says the world is their oyster now.
Tracey and her fiance Simon jumped for joy and jiggled in the road when she realised they had won the Postcode Lottery.
Just the day before she had predicted this moment.
Tracey said: “The other day I was talking to my neighbour about houses, and I said that when the Postcode Lottery came knocking at my door, I’ll be off. The next day you called me!”
Earlier Tracey has been googling “unique” clothes to add to her stylish wardrobe.
Wearing a tartan jacket, ripped jeans and her hair dyed Postcode Lottery red, Tracey said: “This will change our lives. I’ve never had anything like that, and I never will again.
“I expected a small amount. The amount we’ve got is… ooooh… I’m absolutely over the moon.
“I’ve been looking online for clothes all morning. Just Googling ‘unique clothing’.
“It’s something that has to stand out for me. I just like clothes.”
