At 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, the Texas A&M Aggies (8-2) take on the Auburn Tigers (4-6).
The Aggies head into the matchup after winning 38-3 over the New Mexico State Aggies in their last outing on Nov. 16. The Tigers are coming off of a 48-14 win over the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks. Against the Aggies, Marcel Reed led the Aggies with 268 yards on 20-of-31 passing (64.5%) for two touchdowns and one interception. He also carried the ball four times for 41 yards and one rushing touchdown. Amari Daniels rushed for 84 yards on five carries (16.8 yards per carry) and one touchdown. Theo Melin Ohrstrom had five receptions for 111 yards (22.2 per catch) against the Aggies. Payton Thorne threw for 286 yards for the Tigers against the Warhawks, going 22-for-32 (68.8%) with five touchdowns and no interceptions. He added seven carries for 27 yards. Jarquez Hunter put together a 14-carry, 102-yard game (7.3 yards per attempt), while also adding one reception for two yards . KeAndre Lambert-Smith caught six passes for 104 yards (17.3 yards per catch), scoring one touchdown.
