Kapil Dev achieved this in 62 innings, while Bumrah has reached the milestone in just 51 innings, 11 fewer than the cricketing legend.

He becomes the first Indian pacer to reach this milestone in a single WTC cycle and the third Indian bowler overall, after Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, to achieve this remarkable feat.
Jasprit Bumrah also became the Indian bowler with the most international wickets in 2024 across all three formats, with 61 scalps. He surpassed Sri Lankan leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga to achieve this milestone.
