Megan Hilty was treated to a special surprise ahead of the opening night performance of her new Broadway musical Death Becomes Her.
Meryl Streep, the actress who originated the role of Madeline Ashton in the movie version of Death Becomes Her, sent flowers and a funny note to Megan!

“Break a leg, or I’ll break it for you. With dried and undying love and respect, Meryl,” the legendary actress wrote in the note. Megan shared a photo of the note on Instagram and wrote, “I’m dead.”
Megan walked the red carpet on opening night alongside co-stars Jennifer Simard, Michelle Williams, and Christopher Sieber on Thursday (November 21) at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York City.
