A 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck about four miles north of Malibu, with rumbling sent through the San Fernando Valley and parts of the South Bay on Friday afternoon, Nov. 22.
The quake struck about 2:15 p.m., 3.1 miles from Malibu and at a depth of about six miles, according to data from the U.S. Geological Survey.
It reportedly was felt along the coast and elsewhere in Orange and Los Angeles counties, USGS maps show.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
