A royal commentator conducts an experiment to see what items can fit inside Kate's handbag. From a mobile phone to a compact mirror and more, here's what you may find in the bag of Prince William's wife.
The Princess of Wales has been fond of using tiny bags. Since it became a trend in 2019, the Duchess of Cornwall has joined the bandwagon.
She's known for perfectly accessorizing her outfits with her small top-handled handbags.
As no one knows what her tiny bags contain, a royal fan who goes by the name Amanda Matta and loves to speculate on all things royal on her TikTok account @matta_of_fact conducts an experiment to see what the future queen consort carries in her "teeny-tiny handbags."

She uses a much-cheaper bag that exactly looks like Kate's Nano Montreal handbag from DeMellier, which costs £295 or $395, to see what can fit inside.
With its measurement of six inches at the top and seven at its base, Matta fits a phone, a hairbrush, lipstick, a hand sanitizer, and a small wallet inside the bag.
According to Express, just like other people, Kate carried a mobile phone and was seen using an iPhone at Wimbledon in 2021. She was also spotted carrying payment methods after buying some items at EACH store in Holt, England, in October 2022.

However, Matta couldn't fit a notebook in the tiny bag, as Kate is known for bringing a notebook to royal events.
Royal expert and biographer Macica Moddy wrote in her 2013 book Kate: A Biography that the princess only carried four items in her small handbags at all times.
"In her small clutch, she carries a compact mirror, blotting paper, a handkerchief, and lip balm," she noted.
If she carries a tote bag, that means Kate has her personal camera with her, considering she's known as a hobbyist photographer.

She takes official portraits of her kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, and later release them to the public. She also studied photography while still studying at St. Andrews University.
Moddy added that Kate's everyday handbag likely has different things than the bags she uses when performing royal duties. When working, royals are known to have teams who carry their cash, travel cards, and IDs.Meghan Markle has been the target of criticisms by some individuals in their op-eds while they build Kate Middleton who will be celebrating another milestone on Sunday.
Petronella Wyatt wrote an article about the two duchesses in The Sun. In the title, she wrote, "Meghan must hate how popular Kate has become as she turns 40...she is the beautiful Glinda to her Wicked Witch of the West."
In the article, Wyatt praised Middleton but slammed Markle. She said the Duchess of Cambridge is "rare."
"Her chestnut hair seems always lit by the sun's afterglow, her skin saturated by summer mists and her complexion is the envy of dermatologists," she wrote describing Middleton.
On the other hand, she criticized other female royals, including Princess Charlene, Queen Letizia of Spain, and Markle.
"The Duchess of Sussex, with her slippery, shiny pout, is a concrete siren rising before her husband, her face powdered, her eyelashes dropping provokingly," she wrote.
Wyatt also said that Middleton put her husband first and even asked Prince William "Are you happy?" after their exchange of marriage vows in the genuine hope that he was.
She added that it helped that the future queen consort is "unlike her sister-in-law" and that he has never tried to convince the Duke of Cambridge that he is mentally ill and bordering on suicidal.
"In some ways, this is a tale of two women, and for Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, the popularity of Kate is wormwood, as the popularity of Glinda was to the Wicked Witch of the West," she wrote.
Omid Scobie, the author of the unauthorized biography of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Finding Freedom, reacted to Wyatt's write-up. For him, it was unnecessary to build up the Duchess of Cambridge at the expense of the Duchess of Sussex.
"I don't understand this constant need to use op-eds about the Duchess of Cambridge's 40th to sling mud at women that have nothing to do with her or her birthday. The language in this vile @TheSun article is sexist, hateful and creepy," Scobie tweeted.

Several reacted to Scobie's tweet agreeing that Wyatt's write-up was damning to Markle. In response, Markle's supporters slammed Kate Middleton.
"The fact is that Meghan sets the bar. It’s way way above Kate’s but the interest in Meghan gets Kate some interest and engagement indirectly and therefore not on her own merit," one wrote.

"No one wants to read about her. Only Meghan can bring attention," another added.
Meanwhile, some are hoping that Middleton and Markle would reunite and join efforts in ending the comparisons between them or other women.
"I pray for M and K to release a joint statement asking the media and public to celebrate women without damning another," one netizen wrote.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seemingly waited for all the royal family members to release their Christmas cards before they shared theirs. And the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a big impression by sharing the first official photo of their daughter, baby Lili.
Royal commentator Angela Levin weighed in on why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn't release their Christmas card early.
During her interview with talkRADIO host Mike Graham, she said it was "interesting" that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had not released their Christmas card yet, during her interview. She speculated that there was a reason the royal couple had not released their Christmas card yet.
"But I think they'd like to do it last because they got into the idea that the most senior Royals arrived last and do these things last, so they are going to trump everybody else," she said, as quoted by Express.
Graham opined that their Christmas card might feature Prince Harry, Markle, their kids Archie and Lili, and her mom, Doria Ragland.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex finally dropped their Christmas card on Thursday. The royal couple got the public's attention because it featured their daughter. It was baby Lili's first picture as they hadn't released any photo of their youngest child since they welcomed her in June.
Baby Lili is already 6 months old. Prince Harry and Markle have been very protective of their kids and rarely speak about their daughter.

The Sussex fans were delighted with their Christmas card because finally, they saw Prince Harry and Markle's daughter. Prince Harry and Markle made their supporters wait for half a year before showing baby Lili to them.
