New hair, new Ellen? Since making the pilgrimage to England, it seems Ellen DeGeneres is attempting to shed her old persona. As seen in an Instagram video posted from the Farmer’s Dog pub in Burford earlier this month, Ellen’s quintessential platinum mop has now been replaced by what “Page Six” calls a “brunette” dye job. Personally, I’d call this more of a deep, ashy blonde, but … semantics. Either way, it’s clear Ellen wants to say “bye-bye” to a lot more than Trump’s America.
TMZ reported earlier this week that the semi-retired talk-show host and her wife, Portia de Rossi, had fled their Montecito mansion in favor of a quieter life in the Cotswolds, a countryside enclave also populated by Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Elizabeth Hurley, and Sir Patrick Stewart. Much like fellow rich and famous person Eva Longoria, the couple had apparently grown “very disillusioned” following Trump’s reelection and decided to “get the hell out.” Portia and Ellen now seem to be enjoying pubbing, watching acoustic sets by Natalie Imbruglia and James Blunt, and drinking beer with their new friends. So much for blondes having more fun.
