According to reporting by Forbes, the box office showing for the two new movies is strong. However, it’s not matching the numbers we saw during Barbenheimer.
Wicked grossed $11 million in domestic previews and is on pace to open with box office totals between $100 million and $110 million. Meanwhile, Gladiator II pulled in $6.5, and is expected to open with $65 million.
In comparison, previews for Barbie brought in $22.3 million, and Oppenheimer soared to $10.5 million.
