President-elect Donald Trump is proposing a new federal government agency, the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency, which would be headed by Tesla/X CEO Elon Musk and MAGA businessman Vivek Ramaswamy.
One of the far-right MAGA Republicans Trump would also like to see involved is Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
Greene, according to CNBC, has "been tapped to lead a new House subcommittee that will work with" DOGE.

Greene and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), have already met with Ramaswamy to discuss the proposed agency, CNBC reports,.
But progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), a scathing critic of Greene, slammed her as someone who falls short when it comes to digging into policy.
In an X post, AOC — who was also reelected on November 5 — wrote, "This is good, actually. She barely shows up and doesn't do the reading."
AOC added, "To borrow a phrase I saw elsewhere, it's like giving someone an unplugged controller."
