BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Two different gun calls were made in Buffalo in one evening on Wednesday, with one of them being a shots fired call, according to the Buffalo Police Department.
Around 7 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to Welker Street for a report of a man with a gun. 36-year-old Jeffrey Lewis was allegedly brandishing a rifle and making threatening comments. The scene was secured.
A search warrant found a revolver, a rifle, over 300 rounds of ammunition, a bulletproof vest, and three high-capacity magazines, along with suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
Around two hours later, officers responded to a shots fired call on the 2400 block of Delaware Avenue. A fight allegedly broke out in an apartment complex after multiple shots were heard. The scene was secured and a pistol was recovered.
Suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia were also recovered. Four people were arrested in connection.
