OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) -- A 22-year-old Alexandria woman is facing multiple charges in connection with the late October homicide on Ina Claire Drive, according to Opelousas police.
In a news release, Opelousas police said Alexziah Joseph faces charges the following charges in connection with the death of Jaleel Guidry:
- one count of accessory to first-degree murder
- five counts of accessory to attempted first-degree murder
- one count of accessory to assault by drive-by shooting
- one count obstruction of justice
"Joseph is believed to have driven from Alexandria to Opelousas on the night of the homicide to pick up the individuals who were directly involved in the crime," police said.
Earlier this month, 23-year-old Gerard Jevaris Griffin and his 49-year-old mother, Finecia Renee Draper, were arrested in connection with the case.
Griffin faces one count of second-degree murder. Opelousas police said they have identified him as the primary suspect in the case.
Draper faces one count of obstruction of justice.
