TOPEKA (KSNT) - The always popular Topeka Zoo Lights opens to the public Friday.
The zoo gave 27 News a sneak-peak Thursday night. Director of development, Cynthia McCarvel, said there's several new displays this year and they require quite a few lights.
""We have over a million lights," McCarvel said. "We have 350,00 feet of rope lights and we have over 500 displays!"
Topeka Zoo Lights is open from 5-9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 5-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The zoo lights will be displayed until Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024. Tickets can be purchased here.
